This surprise anniversary setup was created at the picturesque Crestyl Cottage, a cosy Airbnb retreat chosen by the couple for their weekend getaway. One of the partners contacted us in advance, requesting a discreet and charming mini decor arrangement to surprise their significant other upon arrival.
Our brief was to style a small dining area without overpowering the space, yet still make the celebration feel special and intimate. We designed a ceiling balloon cluster in gold, ivory, and burgundy, paired with a matching statement balloon garland and gold letter balloons spelling “Happy Anniversary” across the window. The goal was to add a festive touch while complementing the natural light and rustic charm of the cottage interior.
Space limitations and the need for a quiet, seamless setup (without disturbing the hosts or other guests) made this project a test of timing and subtlety. We coordinated the installation for a narrow afternoon window and left the space exactly as we found it-just with a little more love in the air.
